On Friday June 18th into Saturday June 19th the American Cancer Society is holding the annual Relay For Life at the East Boston Stadium.
There are two teams that I am aware of that are sponsored by Town of Winthrop employees.
The first is Team Turtle - Team Captain Carla Vitale.

We are jointly inviting you, all other town employees, families, and friends to get involved.
If you would like to walk in the relay, sponsor a walker, remember someone lost to cancer, celebrate a survivor's victory against cancer, or in any other way be involved, please do not hesitate, contact one of the team captains previously mentioned.
Or if you prefer, visit the American Cancer Society's web site, search the East Boston event, and choose how you would like to participate.
It is a great event and alot of fun.
